WERRIBEE ZOO

Just west of Melbourne, Werribee Zoo hosts a large range of predominantly African wild animals, some of which now only exist in captivity such as the white rhino, and others which have come back from the brink of extinction because of breeding programmes in zoos. On a sunny late-Autumn afternoon, a visit to the zoo shows animals enjoying the sunshine in an environment where they are quite obviously very comfortable.
